SecVerificationServer

is a server application for

  • automatic signature validation and
  • automatic signature and document decryption.

SecVerificationServer Overview

The Java based server application (software) SecVerificationServer validates electronic signatures automatically based on directories.

SecVerificationServer monitors directories configured by the administrator. Applications may save electronic signatures in these directories and trigger the signature verification using semaphores. In addition, SecVerificationServer can decrypt signed data and/or generate verification reports (HTML, XML, PDF). Eventually, valid signatures and corresponding documents are moved to a target directory structure, invalid signatures and corresponding documents are moved to 'defect' directory structure.

Mass signature verification

Supported signature formats are:

  • CMS (PKCS#7) SignedData
  • XML/DSig
  • Adobe  PDF signatures

Verification reports can be generated as

  • HTML documents
  • XML documents
  • PDF documents

Electronic invoices and EU directive 2006112EC

The authenticity and integrity of electronic invoices can be ensured using advanced electronic signatures according to EU directive 2006112EC. SecVerificationServer may be used to validate such signatures and can easily be integrated into existing invoice workflow solutions.

Decryption

SecVerificationServer decrypts documents/signed data provided the respective software keys or smart cards are available for decryption.
